No Illness Policy
Since 2016, We have had a strict NO Illness Policy for all sessions and events.
NO Illness Policy: Due to the nature of Daydreams Photography's business, there is a "No illness policy". Clients and members of their household must be well and symptom free without medication for 48 hours prior to attend any session.
Daydreams Photography reserves the right to end/terminate a Session if Client/participant(s) shows signs of illness (as judged by Daydreams Photography in its absolute discretion). The Client and/or any one in their party or household may not attend the Session with any form of confirmed or possible illness or infection.
This particularly applies to, but is in no way limited to; chickenpox, Covid19, fifth disease, Hand Foot & Mouth disease, influenza, measles, meningococcal, mumps, Pink eye (Conjunctivitis), pneumonia, RSV (Respiratory syncytial virus), Rotavirus, rubella, streptococcus (strep), or Whooping cough (pertussis). Clients may be screened for illness at the time of the Session.
Any Client that attends a Session ill or with an ill member of their party will be in breach of their contract and the Session Retainer fee and any other fees paid to Daydreams Photography will be forfeited to Daydreams Photography.
If member(s) of the Client’s household/party is or are ill, or if anyone in Client's household is being tested for Covid-19 or any other illness, or been told to self isolate, please contact Daydreams Photography as soon as possible to cancel the Session.
We will be taking all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of Infectious Illness. Clients will be required to wear a mask in the studio, this mask must fully cover their nose and mouth. Clients may have their temperature checked before entering the studio and will also be required to fill out a questionnaire prior to attending their session.
Studio Patrons may not attend sessions if ANY member of their household (attending or not),
All Cake Smash, Simple Studio, Maternity, Simple Newborn,
& Children's Limited Edition MINIs Events.
Limit of ONE parent/guest/guardian will be permitted to attend the session
Siblings / or Children not being photographed may NOT attend the studio.
Children not being photographed they will not be permitted to enter the studio.
Please note these measures will be in effect permanently.
Clients will be required to return Health Questionnaires prior to entering the studio or event
Cancellation & RESCHEDULING
Regular Studio Sessions:
Clients may only reschedule the Session one time after the session is booked and must do so in writing via email. Further rescheduling will result in the Client forfeiting the Session. A rescheduling fee of $50.00 is required to reschedule a Session if less than seven (7) Days but more than 12 hours' notice is given in writing. In the event the Session cannot be rescheduled, and more than 12 hours notice has been given, the Client will be credited for the SESSION RETAINER FEE with a credit voucher, less expenses incurred by Daydreams Photography, less the $50.00 RESCHEDULING FEE. Credits to the Session Retainer fee will also be reduced where rentals or perishable goods have been purchased in advance of the Session. If the Client cancels or reschedules less than 12 hours prior to the Session, the Session and all fees is considered forfeited by the Client.
Client Cancellation: The Client may cancel or terminate their session in writing to DDP via email any time after booking. The client will forfeit their SESSION RETAINER (50% of the session fee) for cancellations made after booking but more then 12 hours prior to the EVENT DATE. If the Client cancels or reschedules less than 12 hours prior to the Session, the Session and all fees is considered forfeited by the Client.
Holiday & Limited Edition MINI Events
Event Tickets may not be rescheduled to another date or time. Unless required by DPP.
Client Cancellation: The Client may cancel or terminate their session in writing to DDP via email any time after booking. The client will forfeit their EVENT RETAINER (50% of the session fee) for cancellations made after booking but more then 48 hours prior to the EVENT DATE. The EVENT BALANCE (50% of the session fee) will be issued as a credit voucher to the client to user within one year from the date of the original payment.
If the Client cancels, terminates or forfeits their session less than 48 hours prior to the EVENT DATE, the TOTAL EVENT FEE and/or all fees will be forfeited by the client.
General Studio Policies
No animals may attend any session in the studio or on location.
Siblings/other children may not attend sessions where they are not part of the package listed in the session contract.
