Cake Smash
Welcome to our Cake Smash Sessions, the perfect way to celebrate your child’s first birthday! Our sessions are designed for 11-month-old babies, but we also offer smashes for children aged 2-6 years old.
We specialize in capturing your child’s birthday with our famous cake smash sessions. With an array of amazing pre-created themes or custom themes for you to choose from. We will create a fun and memorable session that you and your child will cherish for years to come.
Not all children like or want to eat cake, which is why we offer a variety of smash themes that can include pie, watermelon, donuts, tacos, pudding, paint, or any other creative idea you may have. Our goal is to make your child’s session unique and unforgettable.
Our larger session includes a simple studio images to start, capturing those traditional shots that you’ll treasure for years to come. We also offer a fun and playful bubble bath cleanup that toddlers and parents alike love.
We take pride in our line of custom backdrops, which we started designing in 2019. Our custom sets are commercially printed by Fancy Fabrics & Props, one of the largest suppliers of custom backdrops globally, and are used by other professional photographers around the world. We offer our cake smash services in our studio located in Brooklin Ontario, Serving Durham Region, The GTA (Toronto), Ajax, Pickering, Markham, Whitby, Oshawa, Port Perry, Uxbridge and Bowmanville. Packages & Investment
Maternity Sessions FQA
All Session Packages Include
- Items listed in the package.
- Proof viewing gallery will include watermarked images for the client to choose from.
- Additional digital images, professional prints, canvases, and wooden photoblocks, are available for purchase through the proof gallery. Unedited images are not available.
- Prints & Canvases included in packages must be of a chosen digital.
- Final Galleries take approximately 3-4 weeks to be returned to Client, please see contract for details.
- *All session fees & products are subject to HST.
- Your Maternity sessions take place between 32-36 weeks (28-32 weeks for twins).
- If this is your first pregnancy we recommend doing the session about 33-35 weeks as it takes a bit longer for your bump to really show.
- Subsequent pregnancies may want to schedule sessions at 30-33 weeks as you tend to show faster.
- Our large studio wardrobe for newborn, children and maternity includes over 600 pieces.
- Maternity gowns maybe viewed and chosen from our online gallery of over 85 gowns above.
- Additional Maternity Gown use maybe added to your package for $40.00 per gown.
- Studio wardrobe is available for use during certain sessions, see package for included wardrobe. Wardrobe is not available unless listed in package details. Wardrobe maybe limited to certain participants in the package.
- We do not supply Wardrobe for spouses.
- Children's wardrobe items are mainly 3-18 months and limited 2T and above. Wardrobe is not available unless listed in package details.
- Wardrobe items are only for use during sessions held by Daydreams Photography.
If your baby happened s to arrive before your session your retainer maybe transferred to a newborn session (if available) or a credit voucher will be issued.
